As part of the ongoing development of QSAND, and the BRE Trust’s engagement with the humanitarian and development spheres, we are planning a stakeholder consultation to identify key challenges to be addressed in future BRE Trust programmes.

On Wednesday the 4th September, 9.30am – 1.00pm, we will be hosting a half-day workshop to help us identify

• Current knowledge gaps in sustainability and resilience in disaster preparedness and response
• Current issues related to global urbanisation and urban development
• Gaps and weaknesses within the QSAND tool that could be updated / improved
• Areas where the BRE Trust may be able to support further research or the development of educational materials in the international development sphere

We are hoping to get some of our key partners and researchers in the field together to discuss this and to help us shape the development of QSAND and our international programme.
